The new 15" design is ideally paired with SCM110/150/200/300 monitors although it also pairs well with smaller models, if certain situations demand increased bass extension and/or headroom than the 12" SCS70 Pro offers.

As with the SCS70 Pro, two versions of the sub are available, one for use 'freestanding' and one for in-wall installation.

The SCS120 Pro is designed for use 'freestanding' and features a radius baffle and rear mounted amplifier. The amp is the same as used in the SCS70 Pro 12" but the 15" bass driver is an all-new design and is loaded in a 120 litre sealed cabinet. The larger driver and cabinet result in 3dB greater efficiency (headroom) and an extended bass response.

The SCS120iW Pro is optimised for flush/in-wall mounting and features a square edge baffle and is supplied with the 19"/7U R1-300 amp

The R1-300 Pro remote amp can be mounted in a wall within the control room or in a 19" rack. Connection between the sub and remote amp is via NL4 and 5-pin XLR.

At the heart of the subwoofer is a new 15" driver featuring a high-power neodymium motor assembly and highly linear suspension, optimised for low bass reproduction. The larger driver results in 3dB greater efficiency and improves the low frequency cut-off to 20Hz (-6dB) vs the 12" SCS70 Pro. The larger driver also delivers cleaner low frequency output due to reduced distortion over it's full operating band.

Both the SCS120 and SCS120iW Pro use a cabinet that matches the width of the SCM150A and SCM150AiW Pro, so when combined, the system visuals are optimised. In addiition, the height of the sub cabinet has been designed to position the partnering SCM150 optimally for the majority of clients/studios.
