The Neve 1073® is widely regarded as one of the most iconic microphone preamps ever created, embodying the unmistakable Neve sound. In continuous production since the early 1970s, its discrete class-A topology features transformer-balanced inputs and outputs, inductor-based EQ, and a choke-coupled high-pass filter. Combined with Neve’s decades of engineering expertise, these elements work together to deliver the rich, musical character heard at the output.

Modern Enhancements
The 1073DPX-D houses two complete 1073® channel strips within a robust 2U rack-mount chassis. While remaining faithful to the original class-A design, the DPX-D introduces a range of modern features, ensuring seamless integration into contemporary studio workflows without compromising the classic 1073 sound.
